Jr. AI Engineer

aiqon is hiring a Jr. AI Engineer for a hybrid role in Hyderabad, India, with compensation of ₹4–6 LPA. The opportunity is open to freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of professional experience. This is a hands-on AI and software engineering role involving the development, adaptation, and deployment of applied AI/ML models for document processing, truck tracking, logistics, computer vision, and other client-specific problems. Responsibilities include building AI features such as retrieval pipelines and model-serving systems, integrating LLMs where appropriate, developing frontend interfaces and backend APIs, debugging production issues across models and applications, writing maintainable code and tests, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with product teams and international clients. Candidates should have a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Software Engineering, or a related field; strong programming skills in Python and/or TypeScript/JavaScript; familiarity with Git, HTTP, REST APIs, HTML, and CSS; and experience with at least one modern full-stack technology stack, such as React, Node.js, or a Python web framework. Applicants should have a genuine interest in applied AI, a GitHub profile or portfolio demonstrating projects they have built, and strong English communication skills. The role requires overlapping working hours with clients in the USA and Australia and willingness to work in Hyderabad in hybrid mode.
